After months of debate and uncertainty I decided to cancel my study abroad plans to independently travel the world. On June 22nd, 2014 I started a 7-month solo journey exploring Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
You can read more about why I’m taking my trip here: The 7 Reasons I’m Traveling the World Now.
A seeker of new experiences and a lifelong lover of people and culture, I have always loved to travel. I took my first trip to Europe with my family at 14 and first flew overseas by myself at 15. Since then I have lived and worked to travel.
Whether it’s roadtripping the USA, taking the train to Canada or spending months overseas, travel makes me happy. But it also makes me humble, grateful and aware.
Travel has consistently and dramatically changed my life, I think it’s one of the most enriching experiences you can have. I want to encourage you to pursue your own meaningful travel experiences.
On Mapped by Morgan you can follow my journey, discover travel tips for future trips and find the inspirational resources to follow your own travel dreams.
